FIXED FEE DIVORCE

We offer a fixed fee divorce service for non-contested, straightforward Divorces or dissolution of Civil Partnerships, whether you wish to issue proceedings or if these have been served on you.

For a fee of Ł595.00 (Ł495.00 if you are the party being divorced), we will take you through the whole divorce process from an initial meeting to take your instructions to receipt of Decree Absolute (or Final Order in the case of Civil Partnerships).

This fee includes:-

1.	Meeting with you to introduce you to the solicitor acting on your behalf and take your full instructions;
2.	Preparing the Divorce Petition; Statement of Arrangement for Children (if applicable) and Certificate of Reconciliation, and sending to you for approval before filing with the Court;
3.	Arranging for the Divorce Petition to be issued at Court;
4.	Corresponding with the Court and your Husband/Wife;
5.	Completing all necessary documentation to obtain Decree Absolute / Final Order.

Please note that this only applies in the case of a non-contested divorce and does not include any children issues. It does not include;

amending a petition once issued by the Court;
an application for deemed service (if your former partner does not respond);
advice/Court proceedings relating to children or finances.

In addition you will also need to pay the following fees/disbursements which are not included in the fixed fee:-

Court fee for filing the petition (currently £340);
Court fee for obtaining Decree Absolute or Final Order (£45);
Bailiff/Private Investigator's fee for personal service of the Divorce Petition on your former partner, if required;
Swearing fee for affidavit in support of Petition (c£5-10);
Fee for obtaining a copy marriage certificate if you do not have the original (£9.25);
Court fee for any additional applications.

Any additional work required can of course be undertaken on your behalf, and if you require us to do this we will provide a full estimate of the costs involved for your approval prior to any work being undertaken.
