MATRIMONIAL | | Divorces, Pre-nuptial and Living Together Agreements, Children |
At a very difficult time, we offer a personal, user friendly approach to try and minimise
the stress associated with family breakdown. The service we offer is tailored to suit you
and your financial requirements.
You will be provided with your solicitor's personal e-mail address, which will be accessed direct by them. All correspondence and telephone messages will be responded to as a priority.
DIVORCE / DISSOLUTION OF CIVIL PARTNERSHIPS
We offer a fixed fee divorce or dissolution of civil partnerships, to include (in respect of divorce):-
- an initial meeting with you to discuss the grounds of divorce/dissolution and other aspects to consider on divorce;
- preparing the draft divorce petition for your approval;
- filing the divorce petition with the Court;
- completing the standard paperwork on divorce;
- application to the Court to list the divorce for decree nisi;
- obtaining decree nisi;
- applying for and obtaining decree absolute, six weeks and one day after decree nisi;
- sending you decree absolute and advising you of the legal ramifications of this.
Please contact Paul Prentice (PaulP@Infields.co.uk) or Anna Loxton (Anna@Infields.co.uk) for further details regarding this service.
FINANCIAL SETTLEMENTS ON DIVORCE / DISSOLUTION OF CIVIL PARTNERSHIPS
Again we offer a tailored service to suit your requirements. It may that that you and your former partner have managed to agree a division of the joint assets, in which case you will need to ensure this is recorded by way of a consent order to be approved and endorsed by the Court. Alternatively, if the finances cannot be agreed, we will guide you through the Court process and advise you on the procedure.
COHABITEES
The law distinguishes between married and unmarried couples on the breakdown of relationships. We will provide you with a clear outline of the law and what you can expect in respect of jointly owned assets.
PRE-NUPTIAL AGREEMENTS AND LIVING TOGETHER AGREEMENTS
We can advise you on the best ways to protect your assets in the event of relationship breakdown, and draft appropriate Agreements.
CHILDREN
Unfortunately separation can often lead to difficulties in respect of contact arrangements and finances regarding children. We are able to provide full assistance, in accordance with the primary objective of the Court, being the welfare and best interests of the children. Again please contact us further to discuss.
